The Board of Directors of the Homestead Heights Swim Association is excited and very pleased to announce the following major renovations to our pool and facility:
(1) Work Force Maintenance (WFM) has completely renovated both the main and baby pools in 2003. Each pool was gutted, completely resurfaced, and the tiles and coping stones which surround each pool replaced. The pool surface carries a 15-year replacement warranty.
(2) Mr. Jay Hooten made repairs to the deck which surrounds the pool. This project fixed all damaged areas around the pool deck and provides for a new sealed surface.
(3) The Board is looking into making several landscaping improvements to the pool property.
(4) A new sign was installed on Horton Road as evidence of the improvements that we are making to the pool.
(5) A new roof was installed on the pool house to protect us during storms.
In addition to these facility changes, we are also taking major steps to improve communication with our members. Pictures of these renovations, membership applications, newsletters and the like can soon be found at our new website. Thanks to Kurt Luck and the Samuels (Hope and Keith) for pulling this together. We are reviewing the content now and will notify you when it becomes available.
We are very excited about these improvements and hope that you are as well. The best part about these improvements is that they are being done with our land sale revenues with NO CHARGE WHATSOEVER to the members! Please go by and look at the work, see what your Board is doing to make this a GREAT pool, and most of all, invite your friends to come join us this summer!!
This is just the beginning of making Homestead Heights a GREAT place for summer fun. We are looking at all areas of pool operation and management and expect to announce several other improvements soon, so be on the lookout!!
